Azita Ghanizada

Azita was born in Kabul in Afghanistan. Azita is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. Her birthplace was in Kabul, Afghan. Her parents left for the US where they were granted asylum. She was raised by her two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on television through appearances on National Commercials. Ghanizada's role as Chiara in Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara received her a nomination for Best Actress at a film festival. She appeared as a guest star in several television series, including How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych & Castle. In recent times, she was in the independent comedy You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009 and the action-science film Blood Shot. Ghanizada began her acting career in 2008 as a cast actor on General Hospital's primetime spinoff, General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift saw Ghanizada portray the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic healing. Ghanizada was seen as Kelly as the Prada character in HBO's Entourage.
